Coming with the twistlock design, the Zeluga rock climbing carabiner can be operated easily with just one hand. A push against the spring load and a simple twist to the barrel opens it easily. It locks automatically immediately after the spring load is released. Lightweight, portable and hot forged, these are made of 7075 aircraft grade aluminum. The major axis is of 25KN (5500lbs), the minor axis of 8KN and it has an open gate of 7KN. The rating on the carabiner is decided by a lab test which may see variations in practice. The length is 4.40″, width is 2.40″ and the opening gate is 0.78″. Being of only 3.03oz, it’s easy to carry while climbing, camping, hiking, rappelling, training, caving and moving downhill. The carabiner also has other uses like animal tractions, fire survivals, hammock connections, escapes, etc.
