Coming with a large and easy to hold handle, the Zeluga handheld ascender makes single rope climbing much easier. Instead of having to grip the rope with bare hands, the climber holds the ascender which gets a strong grip on the rope. The ascender slides upwards smoothly and is stopped automatically by tooth clams when the movement is in the opposite direction. It can be connected with other equipment as there are multiple holes. The ascender is easy to store when the desired height is reached or preparations are being made for descend due to its convenient size and shape. The quick UP is fit for ropes having a diameter of 8-13cms. These are a perfect choice for mountaineering or big wall climbing expeditions. Made in Taiwan, these ascenders come with a 4kN / 900 LBF work load. The set includes two ascenders, one each for the left and right hands.
